Palmyra library decides not to move
PALMYRA — The Palmyra Public Library has decided to stay in its current location in South Londonderry Township, but library President and CEO Karla Trout said there is plan to serve the needs of residents’ in Palmyra borough and North and South Londonderry townships….
“We have our Summer Reading Programs at Grace Brethren here on Airport Road, The Phoenix Youth Center is housed at Palm Lutheran and our book sale was at First United Methodist, so the churches have been really good to help us to continue to serve the community,” Trout said.
As much as she appreciates the aid the churches have given, she hopes to bring the services back together at the library at some point. …
