If you are an energetic young man who is passionate about teaching people God’s Word, building relationships with both unbelievers and believers, and serving Christ’s church by training people to serve and walk with new believers then Grace Community Church’s full-time, year-long, paid Pastoral Resident position is for you (salary/package of $39,000/year). This position can roll into a full-staff position if one shows themselves effective. This resident position is at our Northwood, OH campus.
We have experienced steady and healthy growth in our 9+ years through non-churched people placing their faith in Christ and believers walking with them as they grow in their relationship with Christ. We believe God wants to increase our impact, so we are looking for a pastoral resident to join our team. The position will focus on building our Fuse student ministry and Young adult ministry while having opportunities to get pastoral experience in other ministries including preaching on Sunday mornings as one shows ability. Currently we have a campus pastor, full-time music resident, part-time office assistant and a team of committed volunteers leading and serving in our other areas of ministry.
The Northwood campus is a church of 340+ people with an average attendance of 230+ at our 2 Sunday services. We are a church that is intentional about the gospel, creative, and doctrinally and theologically conservative.
