Ron Boehm has resigned from Go2 Church Planting Ministries.

Jeffrey Brown is the new pastor at the Middlebranch (Ohio) Grace Brethren Church. He previously served the Spring Valley Grace Brethren Church (Ohio) for 17 years.

Dr. Scott Edwards

Dr. Scott Edwards is joining the faculty of the Grace College Graduate School in Counseling and Interpersonal Relations in the fall. He will be assistant professor and clinical coordinator in the department. He comes to Grace with nearly 20 years experience in the mental health field. He currently serves children and families through his private practice, Lighthouse Family Counseling, in Kokomo, Ind.

Mike Jentes is relocating from Columbus, Ohio, to southern California where he will work with Church Multiplication Associates (CMA), the District Mission Board of the Southern California and Arizona Grace Brethren Churches. He will also join the staff of the Los Altos Grace Brethren Church in Long Beach (Phil Helfer, pastor).

Andrea Harshman

Andria Harshman, a 2002 graduate of Grace College, has been named as the head volleyball coach and assistant athletic director at Grace. Harshman comes to Grace from the University of Notre Dame, where she was the volunteer assistant coach this past season.

Dr. Brad Lemler

Dr. Brad Lemler will join the faculty of the Grace College business department in fall 2008 as professor of accounting and finance. He taught at Grace from August 2001 to May 2004 and has extensive teaching experience with traditional undergraduate, MBA, and online courses.

Matt McCoy is pastor at the Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church in Meyersdale, Pa. He was previously an associate at the Grace Brethren Church in Goldendale, Wash.

Retired Grace Brethren pastor Russ Ogden has completed work for a Ph.D. in Religious Studies (with emphasis in philosophy and history). It will be awarded by Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana, on August 2, 2008.

After completing exams in the North Central Ohio district, Sean Spoelstra, Powell (Ohio) Grace Brethren Church, and Beau Stanley, Grace Brethren Church of Columbus (Ohio), have been recommended to their congregations for ordination and licensure, respectively.

Casey Richey

Casey Richey has joined Grace Brethren International Missions (GBIM) as controller. He is a recent graduate of Grace College and married Sarah Barzler on June 14.

Matt Simms

Matt Simms has also joined the GBIM staff, teaming up with John Ward and Larry DeArmey to create an overseas mobilizing team. Simms just graduated from Grace College.

Ted and Dawn Rondeau, who have worked in the fund-raising area of Grace Brethren International Missions for more than seven years, have resigned to pursue their passion for evangelism and discipleship through their local church.

Dan Thornon

Dan Thornton, former pastor of the Peninsula Grace Brethren Church in Soldotna, Alaska, has been named chief operating officer for Integrated Community Development International (ICDI). The non-profit, faith-based organization works in central Africa and focuses on developing leadership and empowering local communities to overcome difficult problems on their own. Its major activities include drilling wells, providing for orphans, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, shortwave radio community development broadcasting, agricultural development, and microenterprise development.
