A couple of days ago Encompass Global Worker “M” in Southeast Asia began experiencing neurological symptoms that have caused her serious pain. Her husband “D” has taken her to the hospital. Currently, she is in the ICU undergoing a treatment called TPE (Therapeutic Plasma Exchange). The doctors believe she is showing signs of a condition called Guillain-Barre Syndrome where the body’s immune system attacks the nerves. Symptoms continue to progress causing her increasing pain.
“M” recently found out she is 5 weeks pregnant, which complicates this situation even more. After this treatment, important decisions will need to be made as to the best location for the rehabilitation and healing process to take place. Let us honor God by going to him in prayer, casting our anxieties on him because he cares for us. Please pray for healing, wisdom, and for God’s mercy to be poured out onto this family in this serious situation.
