For 10 years, Todd and Sarah Hunnicutt, members of Grace Community Church, a Grace Brethren church in Auburn, Calif. (Phil Sparling, pastor), have been working with United World Mission in Slovenia. They have been involved in church planting, facilitating church planting with other churches, producing/organizing evangelistic outreaches, using Slovene history for the Gospel, and networking (encouraging greater cooperation between the few evangelical churches).
Since October 17, a team from the Auburn church has been traveling in Slovenia to present concerts. Today is one of their bigger concerts and they have asked for prayer:
PLEASE PRAY TODAY: Today is one of two bigger concerts, this time in the capital, Ljubljana. Please be in prayer! We have about 200 people who have reserved seats and just fewer than 500 seats. Pray people would come, primarily those who Christians have invited but also many others so the hall would be filled and the Gospel would be even more broadly proclaimed. Today we also join with the youth choir Pala for several songs, so pray that between the unique technical needs of such a big hall (and great acoustics for orchestras, but hard for amplification) and fitting all the pieces together, that prep would go well. Thank you for praying.
