This online auction has come to our attention as a unique way to raise funds for a missions trip. A quilt is being auctioned to help towards the cost of a trip by 13 members of the Grace Brethren Chruch, Portis, Kan., to Bow Island, Alberta, Canada, to assist in repairing their building, holding community events, and learning about sharing the Biblical message of Jesus with others. Mission Trip Quilt
Up for Auction is a twin/full sized quilt which measures 80 inches by 96.5 inches. We will mail the quilt to the highest bidder anywhere in the U.S.
All proceeds will go to the Portis Grace Brethren Church to be applied to a missions trip to Bow Island, Canada. The trip will be the first week of July.
Thirteen people from the Portis Church will go to the Bow Island Grace Brethren Church to assist in repairing their building, holding community events and learning about sharing the Biblical message of Jesus with others.
This quilt was a response to a challenge issued by the Missions Committee of the Portis Grace Brethren Church to all regular attenders. Each person who wished to participate was given a red envelope with a $10.00 bill.
