Police investigate Mishawaka shooting that leaves one man dead
MISHAWAKA — The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating a reported shooting that left one 28-year-old man dead and another injured.
Mishawaka police received a 911 call around 11:28 p.m. Friday in reference to a shooting on the 100 block of South Roosevelt Avenue in Mishawaka.
When they arrived, officers found Ryan Serafino, 28, shot at least once, according to a news release. Paramedics arrived on scene and attempted to revive Serafino before transporting him to Memorial Hospital where he later died.
