We are a vibrant, multi-generational community focused on sharing the grace we have been given in Christ Jesus as a part of our call to fulfill The Great Commission. (Matthew 28:19-20). We are prayerfully seeking a full time senior pastor to shepherd and lead our church of approximately 60 attendees and members. In addition to the church, we also have a K-12 school that has been in operation for 27 years and a 106 acre semi-developed camp. Kittanning is a small town along the beautiful Allegheny River, located approximately 40 miles north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Qualifications
Must be a born-again disciple of Jesus Christ with a clear call and dedication to pastoral ministry
Must meet the qualifications for a pastor outlined in Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and display the Fruit of the Spirit as outlined in Galatians 5
Must agree with the WKGBC statement of faith
Ministry degree and/or ministry experience preferred
Charis fellowship pastor preferred but not required
Duties
Seek the Lord daily for wisdom and be committed to personal Bible study and prayer
Lead the church and develop spiritual leaders within the body
Preach sound Biblical doctrine with application to daily life
Shepherd the church through life’s challenges
Care for the spiritual welfare of the church
Impart Godly counsel
Attend to administrative duties including meeting regularly with church staff and leadership
Serve as a voting member on the Grace Christian School Board
