“Dads and Daughters in the Park” concluded the SMM year’s program at the Winona Lake (IN) Grace Brethren Church this week (Bruce Barlow, lead pastor).
The SMM program for elementary-age girls is held at Jefferson Public Elementary School, just across the street from the Winona Lake church’s facility, every Thursday afternoon during the school year.
This week some 20 girls and their dads enjoyed games, treat, refreshments, and fellowship in the Winona Lake church building, as the final function in the SMM school year. Each girl made and gave a gift to her dad–a keychain featuring a photo of his daughter with the legend “Please Be Patient, God Isn’t Finished With Me Yet.”
