The South Focus Retreat, the fourth of five regional gatherings for Charis Fellowship pastors, elders, and leaders, wrapped up this morning with a discussion of the new standardized process for those seeking ordination in the Fellowship. Mark Lingenfelter, president of the Association of Grace Brethren Ministers, led the session.
It wrapped up two days of fellowship, relaxation, and a concentration on helping leaders develop through an apprenticeship culture. Clancy Cruise, executive director of the Charis Fellowship, and pastor of Grace Church, Marysville, Ohio, led the sessions.
Dan Allan, pastor of Grace Church, Ashland, Ohio, spoke on Tuesday morning about how to avoid burnout in ministry. Several Florida pastors also shared about church planting or church revitalization efforts in the state.
The retreat was held at the Florida FFA Leadership Training Center, Haines City, Florida.
