The Kosciusko County National Day of Prayer service will be broadcast on WIOE radio (101.1 FM, 104.3 FM and 1450 AM) at 7 p.m. May 7.

The keynote speaker will be Tiberius Rata, B.S., M.Div., Ph.D. A native of Romania, Rata is the chair of the Biblical Studies Department and professor of Old Testament Studies at Grace College and Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Institute for Biblical Research and has presented papers at the national conventions of the Evangelical Theological Society.

Rata’s desire is to instill in students a love for God and His inerrant word, remembering the words of Ezra 7:10, “For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.”

He is married to Carmen and they have two sons.

The 2020 National Day of Prayer theme is “Pray God’s Glory Across the Earth.” It comes from Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
