Three members of Grace College’s men’s and women’s basketball teams were named CoSIDA Academic All-District.
Haden Deaton and Matt Jennings were All-District winners for Grace’s men’s team, and Kyannah Stull was recognized as All-District for the Lady Lancers.
Grace led the Crossroads League with three All-District winners with Mt. Vernon Nazarene following with two honorees.
CoSIDA honors student-athletes for both academic and athletic achievements. A player must have a GPA of 3.3 or higher and have achieved at least sophomore status. CoSIDA members then vote for the All-District and All-America teams.
Deaton scored a team-high 14.9 points per game to go along with 4.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Jennings tallied 12.2 points and a team-leading 4.0 assists per game.
Stull poured in 517 points (16.7 points per game), tacking on 3.9 boards, 2.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
