The sun finally shone on the campus of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where some 150 young Grace Brethren adults have been meeting for the DRIVEN06 conference. Dr. Todd Scoles, of the pastoral staff of Northwest Chapel in Dublin, Ohio, gave a workshop this morning entitled “Beyong Baptism and Communion–Who Are the Grace Brethren?” Scoles’ recent doctoral dissertation was on the Brethren ordinances and he gave a historical and theological overview of the roots and distinctives of the Grace Brethren movement.
