Missionary Frank Puhl preached a strong message from Genesis 4 in which he emphasized that becoming a member of this church –or of any Grace Brethren church — did not make one a Christian. Rather, it was accepting the sacrifice Jesus paid with His blood that gives one entrance into eternal life. After the service,
