A panel of pastors closed the South Focus Retreat on Wednesday morning with a discussion of “How to Run and Not Lose Heart.” Participating (from left) were Denny Brown, Sebring, FL; John Nelson, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Jesus Munoz, Brandon, FL; and Roland Maust, Millersburg, OH. 

Gathered on the dock of the FFA Training Center in Haines City, Florida, are attendees of the South Focus Retreat. Organized and conducted by FGBC Conference Coordinator Tom Avey, the retreat is the final of four scheduled around the US this year. The retreat concludes at noon tomorrow.

Pastor Ron Smals from the Ocala, FL, Grace Brethren Church, led the early afternoon Tuesday session of the South Focus Retreat on the subject “Others and My Heart…Friends and Family.” Other speakers today included Dan Allan and Kurt Miller. 

Early afternoon–just after lunch–can be tough without a few exercises and “action songs” to get the body moving and the mind engaged again.
